Jesus and the Cherries...

....is one of my favorite photo books from 2006. A group of photographs by Jessica Backhaus made in the Polish community in to which her mother moved. Beautiful and compelling photographs. Backhaus is represented by Yancey Richardson Gallery in New York. Click on the image to view her website.
